About the Role We are seeking an experienced HV Electrician to join our Sojitz Gregroy Maintenance team. As an Advance Electrical Engineering Tradesperson, the position is highly proficient in all applications relating to electrical works, diagnosis of faults, statutory compliance and can be relied upon to perform these functions with minimal supervision and direction. The position will be focusing on maintaining a range of equipment and machinery including Dragline, Substations, Site Communications, HV Electric Haul Trucks and Fixed Plant. Our preferred candidate will focus on supporting the business in achieving our production objectives and maintaining an excellent family-friendly culture. About You You will be a team player who prioritises safety, while understanding your role and how you impact upon the achievement of team objectives. You will be able to prioritise tasks and work without supervision if required and maintains compliance with site policies and procedures at all times. You will maintain the following skills, abilities and attributes: Proven experience in an open cut mine site is ideal. Australian recognised Trade qualification – Electrician. Current Queensland Electrical Works Licence. Current HV Switching qualification. Demonstrated experience in mine site maintenance. Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
